Indonesia Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Report
The Indonesia Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Report is accompanied by an interactive directory of more than 300 ecosystem support organizations. This tool was created to improve visibility into who is supporting entrepreneurs across Indonesia, what types of support they offer, and where key gaps remain. Users can filter by region, target group, service type, sector focus, and funding instrument to better understand the dynamics shaping Indonesia’s green economy and inclusive enterprise landscape.
This directory responds to a common challenge raised by entrepreneurs and funders alike: it is often difficult to find and assess relevant support, particularly outside of Jakarta and Java. By bringing together verified data from ecosystem actors, the directory helps users navigate a fast-growing but fragmented landscape.
Use cases include:
-
Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs identifying accelerators, funders, or technical assistance providers relevant to their stage and sector
-
Ecosystem builders
Ecosystem builders locating peers working in similar regions or with similar target groups to strengthen collaboration
-
Funders & donors
Funders and donors identifying gaps in geographic or thematic coverage and aligning resources accordingly
-
Policy makers
Policy makers exploring where support is concentrated and where ecosystem infrastructure may be underdeveloped
The data was collected through a national survey, validated through regional convenings in Jakarta and Bali, and supplemented with desk research. The project was led by Sweef Capital through the KINETIK Sweef Entrepreneurs Program, with support from the Australian Government in partnership with the Government of Indonesia. It forms part of a broader effort to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems that reflect Indonesia’s diversity and support the country’s transition to a net-zero, inclusive economy.
